J. Bryan Bartlett, M.S.
Bryan has more than five years of community mental health experience. His experience includes couples and family counseling, extensive background in substance abuse treatment, skill development for the persistently mentally ill and esteem building workshops. Bryan personifies life-consulting strategies by balancing career with physical wellness. In addition to individual and couples counseling, Bryan offers Sports/Exercise Mental Skills Training for athletes in the Tampa Bay Area. Through his practice, he supports successful individuals and athletes by introducing proven methods to enhance their mental performance capabilities. Bryan individually consults with athletes to cultivate instructional self-talk, focusing techniques, imagery, relaxation, and complete mental conditioning. Bryan incorporates his real-world knowledge base, shaped from years as a competitive age group runner and tri-athlete, into developing and implementing winning mental attitudes. Bryan has completed numerous marathon and Ironman events and is currently training for the Boston Marathon and Ironman Canada for 2003. Bryan received his Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of North Florida.
